A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Sarah Mitchell, the woman behind Sienna Melbourne. Fashion has always been something I’ve genuinely loved, from finding a beautiful new piece to putting together an outfit that simply feels right. I’ve always believed that clothing can be one of those small things that brings a little extra joy to your day. Eight years ago, I decided to turn that love for fashion into something of my own and started Sienna Melbourne here in Australia. I wanted to create a place filled with lovely pieces that women would be excited to wear and happy to reach for again and again. What began as a small idea has slowly grown into something very special to me. Even after all these years, I still get excited when I come across a piece that I know deserves a place in the collection. And knowing that those pieces eventually find their way into wardrobes all across Australia makes it even more rewarding.

HOW SIENNA MELBOURNE BEGAN

When I started Sienna Melbourne, my goal was actually quite simple. I wanted to bring together fashion that felt beautiful, feminine and easy to enjoy. Pieces for an afternoon out, lunch with friends, a special occasion or simply because you’ve found something you love. Over the years, I’ve spent a lot of time looking for styles that I feel are worth sharing with you. Of course fashion changes, and that is part of what makes it so much fun, but I’ve always wanted Sienna Melbourne to remain a friendly place where you can take your time and find something that feels right for you. Just as important to me is the experience around your order. I want things to be clear, straightforward and friendly, and if you ever need a little help, you should always feel comfortable getting in touch. Sienna Melbourne may have grown over the years, but I never want to lose that personal feeling that was there from the very beginning.

EIGHT WONDERFUL YEARS AND COUNTING

It’s difficult to believe that eight years have already passed since I first started this journey. So much has changed along the way, but my love for fashion and for Sienna Melbourne is still very much the same. I’m incredibly grateful to every person who has visited the store, placed an order, returned to see what’s new or simply taken the time to support what I’ve built. A small business simply wouldn’t be here after eight years without the people who choose to support it, and that is something I never take for granted. There are still so many beautiful pieces to discover, new collections to put together and new people to welcome to Sienna Melbourne. I certainly don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. As long as I still get that same little feeling of excitement when I find something beautiful, I’ll keep doing what I love.
